The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has won a case against 321 Studios over its DVD-copying software that circumvents anti-copying features in DVDs and lets consumers make backup copies. 321 Studios says it will appeal the ruling.
It's all cool ther eare about 200 more software that do the same thing!

Wired.com:Internet users on Friday were ferociously downloading pirate versions of Windows source code, stoking concerns hackers and virus writers could use it for a new wave of cyber attacks.
Microsoft alerted the public on Thursday that parts of its valuable source code for its Windows NT and Windows 2000 operating systems had been leaked to various online file-sharing networks.
So basically Microsoft just told everyone here it is it's available come and download it! If they had the code how did it end up on the p2p networks?

After 43 years as one of the world's prettiest pairs, the perfect plastic couple is breaking up. The couple's "business manager," Russell Arons, vice president of marketing at Mattel, said that Barbie and Ken "feel it's time to spend some quality time -- apart."

Power surge explodes 'superloo'
BBC:A so-called 'superloo' exploded in a town centre when an electrical fault caused water to surge back into the toilet, blowing off its roof and lifting the pavement.

Wired:The Overclockers.com website published a barely believable hoax last week detailing the gutting of a brand new and very expensive Power Mac G5. This brought on an unbelievable reaction from the Mac community.
The hoaxer, identified only as "Andy," claimed he received a dual-processor G5 for Christmas. But preferring a Windows PC, he swapped out the insides of the $3,000 machine for the guts of a cheapo PC. The post included several digital photographs to prove the outrageous claim.
